认真上课认真做作业（压力不大，本人乐在其中），A
课程内容
和 zm 眼神交流一下，看点奇怪的动画，听点奇怪的歌，发发言（就算你不举手也会轮到你，因为 zm 很喜欢开火车，三节课就能过穿两轮牌库），讲课内容特别少，还一直提前下课，除了锻炼到英语之外没任何营养。（所以课程质量没给满分）
workload
个人认为很低，最大的优点就是没有 essay，不用苦恼选题，也不用瞎编一些其实没有兴趣研究（也没有研究）的内容了。直接附作业原文以供试吃。
- After reading all the tablet summaries, begin to closely read the poetic verses of the tablets--tasting, sorting, sifting, and experiencing the language. Then find three quotes/passages (any length) which you find to be especially ______________ (fill in the blank with your own descriptions, i.e. striking/beautiful/interesting/compelling/confusing/maddening/wondrous, etc.) Cite these on your page (again, your selected citation can run any length you like) and explain what is going on in these chosen lines, and just what makes them so _____ for you.). Your explanation can run from a couple of lines to a couple of paragraphs, or longer—at your discretion. Remember that you are in the company of ancient literature, and write something memorable for yourself and your peers.
- From your point of view, based on what you currently know/have read, is Gilgamesh a likable character? Is he an attractive character? Write a sentence or two (or three, or four..) explaining why.
- Find three decisions in the epic. List the citations, Tablet and Verse #. Summarize what's happening, and then you may consider in writing if you think this was a good/wise/rash/terrible/destined decision.
- Who do you believe could play the role of Gilgamesh in an original Shanghai Tech Cinema production of the epic set in film? You can choose anyone you want, of any background and any time period! Bring images and a good explanation with you to convince us in class.
以上是所有普通作业，基本都是附带 pre 的，会让每个人上来讲讲你为什么这么写（依旧水课时），可以看到 workload 几乎没有。
比较费时间的是写互动小说和期末 project。期末 project 是二选一：
- Using the Fagles and Hinds versions of The Iliad, analyze the contents of Book One. As we discussed in class, there is a rift between Agamemnon and Achilles. Explain the nature of this rift in light of the nature and desires of these two men. Describe them, and make a clear argument about what they are actually fighting over, and why. You may let your audience know if you have a clear preference for the position of one man or the other, and what the conflict which appears at the start of this ancient epic does to prepare its audience for the tale that follows.
- You will make engaged use of the Chinese Text Project database (www.ctext.org) to select an original ancient Chinese work which appeals to you, and which you feel you can effectively “gamify.” Your job is then to envision and “sell” the game to a prospective producer overseas. You should write approximately 800 words in which you describe your plan to make your very own contribution to the world of playable Chinese pasts.
互动小说就是用 twine 写个简单的故事，主题是 “假如吉尔伽美什做出了不一样的选择会发生什么”，可以整活也可以认真创作，对我来说也比 essay 简单、有意思得多，所以我本人一定是非常推荐这门课的。拿风评也非常好的邬竞越老师的课做比较，光从作业和 project 这一项来说，zm 的有明确问题、形式多样且可以无穷发散思维的作业，是比 wjy 的需要自己定题，做很多 survey 的真正的文学研究要好很多，也要容易拿分很多的。换句话说，zm 的作业不需要你有什么前置知识，也不需要你对什么东西有兴趣，就可以还算轻松地做下来。文学大手子可以无视这条。
给分
刷脸不知道有没有效，反正我刷脸了。itest 三次考试我的分数是 91.5、92、90，供参考。对于本身有一定英语水平且愿意和 zm 一起玩一下的人来说，满绩应该是相对容易的。
缺点
课太难抢。
